Graduate Orientation
At Graduate Orientation (GradO) you'll discover resources and meet the people that will help you succeed at the University of Calgary.
GradO is your introduction to life as a UCalgary graduate student. Past graduate students report that they found GradO to be essential in helping them get off to a successful start in their programs.
Course-based: Access information related to your professional development, internships, fees and payment plans, academic integrity and managing grad school.
Thesis-based: In addition to the above, learn about finding and applying for scholarships and building a positive working relationship with your supervisor.
GradO will be held in-person, August 28, 2024 at 1 p.m. (MT) in Mac A/B, lower level of MacEwan Student Centre (Main Campus). A virtual option to watch orientation online is also available by registration.
